Stephanie Sanders is an American psychologist and sexologist, an Associate Director of The Kinsey Institute, head of its Gender Studies Division, an Associate Professor of Gender Studies.

Stephanie Sanders received a B.A. degree in 1976 from Douglass College, Rutgers University, (Chemistry, Women's Studies).
In 1979, she received her M.S. in Psychology at the Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. Then in 1984 she received a Ph.D in Psychology and Biopsychology from Rutgers.
