Stephanie Palmer is a business consultant. She is the creator of the Good in a Room Pitch (filmmaking) method.

She grew up in Alexandria, Virginia and started her career in the entertainment industry as an assistant at Jerry Bruckheimer Films and worked on Armageddon and Enemy of the State [1]. She went to college at Carnegie Mellon University[2] where she received a B.F.A in Theatre Directing in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

After working as an studio executive at Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer pictures, she begin to help people break into the industry and was featured in Variety [3] for her work with prospective filmmakers, producers and scriptwriters. She has also been featured on National Public Radio [4] for her book.

Good in a Room features several tips and tricks for anyone who has to pitch and sell anything, whether it be business plans, movie scripts or themselves. The technique breaks down the "pitch" into parts and explains how to progress through a meeting and avoid "dealbreakers." [5].

She currently lives in Burbank, California.
