Stentato

Stentato (Greek Stentor, a character with a powerful voice in Homer's Iliad) is a musical expression which means "loud" or "boisterous".[1] It is usually abbreviated "stent." and can be seen in the score for Ottorino Respighi's 1924 composition, Pini di Roma.
