Stealth startup

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A stealth startup is a startup company that avoids public attention. This may be done to hide information from competitors, or — as part of a marketing strategy — to manage public image.

Stealth Startups are actually well known in the Venture Capital (VC) community, however, it often takes one or two years for a company to develop a product and acquire market revenue and become visible enough to be noteworthy, and frequently, great startps enter buyout agreements and are typically acquired by larger corporations.
