Steady Ground is an Alternative rock group best known for having former The Offspring drummer Ron Welty in its lineup. The band formed in 2003 following Welty's departure from The Offspring. Steady Ground is now nearing completion of their debut album Jettison. Album has been delayed due the band's lack of a vocalist. The band cites their influences as Stone Temple Pilots, Audioslave, Velvet Revolver, Fugazi, U2, The Cure, Pearl Jam, Coldplay "and yes... The Offspring."
