Please re-watch Outlaw Star. Suzuka did not die in the end. Also are you aware of Angel Links or Future-Retro Hero Story?
This page's headings could use some clarification; The overall title is comparing Firefly with other shows/films, yet there is in fact only one comparison: Firefly/Serenity vs. Outlaw Star. Further the subheadings are Outlaw Star and Serenity (film) however the first is comparing Firefly with Outlaw Star, and the second is comparing Serenity with Outlaw Star, and not Firefly with Serenity, as is implied with the overall title. It appears the simplest revision would be to have the overall title "Connections between Outlaw Star and other media" and then have Firefly (TV series) and Serenity (film) sub-headings...and then the question begs to be asked; what about Cowboy Bebop and Trigun? --Empath 05:07, 14 July 2006 (UTC)
Technically, broad enough terms are used that Firefly is compared to almost any remotely space, renegade/outlaw, or frontier based show. Just thought I'd throw that out there.
I have noticed that it also shares parts with Cowboy Bebop majorly in the main room layout, ships spinning ring and style of the characters. There are others also of if this would be changed back to all thing firefly like and things that cross over, but this may be to late. I will add however that Miranda is the password to the The Galactic Leyline coordinates. —Preceding unsigned comment added by AlexaLuna (talk • contribs) 02:37, August 30, 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Some Mistakes, etc.
For one, Melfina was not built by the Space Forces' completely; the Kei Pirates helped and there was several major governments in the Outlaw Star universe, I think the Ctarl-Ctarl Empire was independent of the Terran Federation.
And the Climax battle in Outlaw Star did not include Space Forces...are you referring to the one above the Leyline;the third side was the Ctarl-Ctarl. If you're referring to the raid on the Heifong outpost, that was a private security force being attacked. And IIRC Outlaw Star did not fight them in that battle.
Oh; you forgot the fusion of Chinese and American technology, ideologies, philosophy etc seen in Outlaw Star.
