Starchild Music Group [SMG] was formed on January 1st 2004 by three music lovers who wanted to share their talent with the world. Christian Eriksson a former major label record producer decided on branching out on his own so he could express his unique style of music. He has been producing all kinds of music mainly Pop, Urban, Soul, R&B/hip hop and dance music for over a decade. He is currently the senior executive producer and engineer on the Starchild roster. John Lacy, a former Disc Jockey from London and New York City decided that there was more to music than actually playing it. He is currently the CEO and A&R at Starchild Music Group. SMG is primarily a Pop, Soul/Urban, R&B and Cultural Reggae label that is gaining a lot of ears all over the world. With just few years of establishment, SMG has grown into a label to be reckoned with and has gain a fanbase in over 14 different countries. Their unique style of producing and arranging music set them apart from the rest of labels.
