I updated the otheruses4 template to look slightly nicer. To do so, I had to use Template:!, which is described as a high-risk template. [edit] article needs to be generalized

I don't like the way this article talks only about motors. The stator is a component of at least five different very common electromotive devices, and it's not appropriate to confine the discussion only to motors.

I've tried bludgeoning it into better shape but it needs more work and I'm tired right now..

Oh, and I've taken over the field coil article, which was just a redirect to here. Field coils can be on the rotor or stator so again, needs work. DMahalko (talk) 03:50, 21 January 2008 (UTC)
