Many states of the US and probably elsewhere also have "state historical museums", but they are usually prefixed with the state's name, plus for this one I couldn't find any evidence of usage other than "State Historical Museum" unmodified, so I decided it should "own" this article title, others should link via "(disambiguation)"-type page if necessary.
