[edit] Spelling
The luxurious Obbop ponders at the spelling of the group's name. Were they simply bad spelerz or did they purposely nisspell "Starz"?
[edit] Hits by the Band
In late 1976, Starz had two hits which were big in some Midwestern cities. "Fallen Angel" was the band's attempt to make a catchy, top-40 hit, and "Pulled the Plug" was a deep, dark, metal ballad of sorts which obviously was a tribute to Karen Anne Quinlan, the teenager whose life was decided by the Supreme Court in the first Right-To-Die case. She had overdosed on Quaaludes, was brain-dead, and her parents "pulled he plug" on her after the Supreme Court said they could. Starz' tribute is a great song.
