Talk:Star Ocean (series)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The article says that some names were changed in star ocean 2 and 3 for the US release ,it would be nice if the article showed the original names as well as the names they were changed into for the us release.
- No it wouldn't, because the actual name changes are already listed in each game's respective articles.--Claude 21:23, 20 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Manga translation?
Okay, so the article mentions that the manga's been scanlated/fan-translated, but by what group? It's not licensed (or going to be anytime soon), so is there any harm in announcing that? - The translation patch for SO1 isn't illegal, but the scanlations are.--Claude 21:25, 11 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Space opera?
Can Star Ocean really be classified as space opera (it currently is)? Having seen the anime series, while there is space opera like universe in the background, almost all episodes are more of a fantasy than sci-fi (and hardly fulfill any definitions of a space operam which requires the heroes to adventure across space, not on a single planet).--Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk 18:11, 9 April 2008 (UTC)
