Talk:Stapleford, Nottinghamshire

I was watching a bbc documentry 'who do you think you are?' and that described a stapleford as a 'small village' not quite the description i would use but worth mentioning maybe.
I saw that and it was surprising to me. Stapleford has a population of about 15,000 so would seem to me big enough for a town (but there is no formal difference between villages and towns). The population is now greater than when Robert Lindsey's aunty was buried, but I think was still >10,000 Ram4eva 11:51, 3 October 2006 (UTC)

I know bramcote park isn't in stapleford but it really get a mention as while I was there at least most pupils lived in stapleford so the school at least serves stabbo.92.12.107.209 (talk) 14:00, 5 February 2008 (UTC)
