Talk:Stanley D. Jaworski

[edit] Notability?
The article as it stands does not bring out the notability of the subject. It seems that at a couple of junctions in his life, Mr. Jaworski was on the verge of greatness but never quite got there (for example, he was on a national sports team but did not compete in the 1936 Olympics). Suggest the article be edited to bring out the subject's notability more strongly or be considered for deletion. --W. B. Wilson (talk) 04:34, 26 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Disagreement
Jaworski was a decorated soldier, athlete and advocate. Keep.
I agree that the article could use a certain cleanup.

- There have been many decorated soldiers, athletes of various skill levels, and advocates. Most don't have articles in Wikipedia, simply because they are not notable. I still do not detect any particular notability here. I agree that Mr. Jaworski was a man of some talents, but that alone does not make an article subject notable. W. B.
