Since we may be all distant relatives, that's not sufficient to justify removing the tag re: the possible relation between the Diamonds. What would be so difficult about (1) referring to the particular pages of the book and then saying (2) he believed himself to be a distant relative of... (I don't care, he could believe himself to be a distant relative of Beethoven too. The effect on his life I do find to be very interesting, if it was as described- but that needs evidence.)
