[edit] best-educated Polish officer

Great article, but that pharse is strange:" best-educated Polish officer". What does it mean? Did he have a PhD? Was he a professor? Are there any statistics or something that allows us to compare him to other?--Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus Talk 02:34, 22 April 2006 (UTC)

Check the article linked to that sentence. It lists him among the best-educated Polish officers, that is among those who studied in the most prestigious schools and received the most diplomas. I put a reference there for a purpose, you know ;) //Halibutt 00:19, 23 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Kopański Coat of arms...?

  • Kopański herbu Dołęga, Jastrzębiec, Kopaszyna, Łada...? I can use some help. Thanks.

Why bother? Julian Ursyn Niemcewicz in the 18th century understood, and expressed the view, that coats-of-arms and the like were outdated relics — as did his comrade-in-arms, Tadeusz Kościuszko. logologist|Talk 08:57, 16 December 2006 (UTC)
