The Farm is not the nickname of the stadium, but rather a nickname for Stanford University in general. Also, Stanford Stadium DID host a 1999 Women's world cup match, a semifinal game between won by the United States against Brazil. --Bfraga 18:19, 1 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] New Stadium, New Page?

With the stadium being completely redone, should there be a new, seperate article for the new stadium? Wondering about everyone else's thoughts on the matter.... ToddC4176 21:29, 24 July 2006 (UTC)

I don't see why that would be necessary. When the stadium is completed, a section should be devoted to the "old" stadium, but since Stanford is officially calling it a "renovation", all records and history of events hosted will pass to the new stadium. --Bfraga 17:46, 5 August 2006 (UTC)
