[edit] Appeal to Students

Current version reads........

Since the land is owned by the University, the Center is often criticized for failing to appeal to students. The management of the Center does not deny the mall's elitist focus with its predominantly upscale retail offering.

The "often criticized" aspect appears to be unsubstantiated. If there are no objections, I'll remove it. JXM 21:22, 27 February 2006 (UTC)

  • I've heard that before, but yeah, a source is needed. -LtNOWIS 04:23, 29 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Distance

The distances from San Francisco and San Jose are given as:

The Center is approximately 45 minutes from San Francisco and 30 minutes from San Jose.

I suggest replacing this with distance in miles, as distance expressed in terms of drive times are ambiguous, and are not deterministic. --Ragib 01:40, 3 June 2007 (UTC)

I concur. The shopping center can be as long as 1 hour from San Francisco and 45 minutes from San Jose depending upon the traffic and where exactly one's trip originates in those cities. --Coolcaesar 06:30, 5 June 2007 (UTC)
