I removed links to articles about UK sites with standing stones for the following reasons: - Standing stones are found in many other regions of the world, listing those in the UK only is misleading. - Listing every notable site with standing stones is better done through categories. The section is more useful with a selection of articles for further reading about the subject (Menhirs, Stone circles etc). Equendil Talk 23:02, 29 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Difference between Menhir and Standing Stone

Wouldn't it be usefull to include some comment on what's the difference between a Standing Stone and a Menhir? I at least came to this page to find out exctly that...
