[edit] Stakeholder (general)

I've added this entry to get around the problem of pages that link here but don't refer to Stakeholder (corporate), such as in the case of education, NGOs and the like. 9Nak (talk) 20:38, 16 February 2008 (UTC)

I fail to see why "Stakeholder (general)" completely turns the word on its etymological head. A "stakeholder" is NOT "A person or organization with a legitimate interest in a given situation, action or enterprise." Referencing an incorrect entry in Wiktionary is not valid support. A stakeholder is merely the holder of the stake. The stakeholder does NOT have any interest in the stake. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Rpclod (talkcontribs) 18:11, 12 March 2008 (UTC)

During disambiguation I noticed Stakeholder (law) has a large general stakeholder section, that has been moved to Stakeholder (general), and this page disambiguated, mostly to Stakeholder (general). :) - cohesion 22:12, 12 March 2008 (UTC)
