I had never heard of Staithes, but I have now. Thanks Wikipedia! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.29.72.198 (talk • contribs) 00:15, 1 February 2006 ((UTC))

I had lived in staithes all my life but because of the influx of "outsiders" causing huge house prices are now forced to live away from the place i call home me and many other youngsters are all getting forced away leaving behind a tourist attraction that was once a loverly place to live. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 195.93.21.33 (talkcontribs) 16:07, 14 August 2006 ((UTC))

[edit] Dinosaur

Quote: "a rare fossil of a seagoing dinosaur ". Technically, dinosaurs were land creatures, so there was no such thing as a seagoing dinosaur. The word 'dinosaur' is often used popularly and incorrectly to refer to similarly aged creatures, but in an encyclopaedia is there not a requirement to be accurate? Should this be corrected? See Dinosaurs for more information. Emeraude 16:25, 3 October 2006 (UTC)
