The article says: Stat, as a medical abbreviation meaning "spontaneously timed accidental trauma". But my web search revealed only sources which just cite the wp entry, or forum messages whose reliability is questionable. I intend to delete the entry if noone objects. I've deleted it. I guess it's a backronym without any official status. If it's in widespread use, it can be re-entered, but needs to be described as such. --Mopskatze (talk) 06:07, 9 April 2008 (UTC)
