Starkville School District

The Starkville School District is a public school district based in Starkville, Mississippi (USA).

In addition to Starkville, the district also serves rural areas in central Oktibbeha County.

There were a total of 4,089 students enrolled in the Starkville School District during the 2006-2007 school year. The gender makeup of the district was 49% female and 51% male. The racial makeup of the district was 64.76% African American, 31.16% White, 1.05% Hispanic, 2.64% Asian, and 0.39% Native American.[1] 57.8% of the district's students were eligible to receive free lunch.[2]
