Star Soldier is a series of shooters originally created for the MSX and NES and continued on various gaming systems. The series is known for it's distinctive music and weapons system.

Star Soldier has been remade for both the GameCube and PSP, while the latest iteration of the title was released for Nintendo's Wii via WiiWare.

1990: Super Star Soldier TurboGrafx-16/PC Engine
1991: Final Soldier TurboGrafx-16/PC Engine (only released in Japan)
1992: Soldier Blade TurboGrafx-16/PC Engine
1995: Star Parodier TurboGrafx-16/PC Engine (only released in Japan, planned for North American release as Fantasy Star Soldier)
1998: Star Soldier: Vanishing Earth: Nintendo 64
