Stanton is village situated in north Suffolk, near Bury St. Edmunds. It has a football team Stanton F.C.. The village lies close to RAF Shepherds Grove, where American forces are based, and local pubs 'The Cock Inn' and 'The Rose & Crown'.
The village is situated on the A143 road between Bury St. Edmunds and Diss.
There is a Middle school, a Primary school, a playgroup and a nursery. The middle school feeds students predominantly to the nearby Upper school, Thurston Community College.
