Stacey Tendeter

Stacey Tendeter is a British actress best known for her performance as Muriel in the 1971 film Two English Girls . Her other cinema appearances include White Bird, Friend or Foe, and Terminal Game.
The majority of her work came in the 1970s on British television when she appeared on Elizabeth R, Dead of Night, The Pallisers, In This House of Brede, and Doctor Who in the story Underworld. She has since done mostly stage theatre, having performed in The Sentence, School For Sugar, and The Scandal.
Tendeter presently lives in London with her husband, Andy, and one of her three children.
After Francois Truffaut died in 1984 a directors cut of Les Deux Anglais et le Continent was released to great acclaim. Particularly adding several key scenes featuring Stacey. This is the version currently available on DVD.
Stacey is currently fighting breast cancer that has moved into her lungs and bone. She has been unable to work in film or tv or theatre for many years due to her illness. However, she is one of the most exciting actresses to come out of the 60's/70's and deserves to work again once she has defeated her illness.
