Description

Hopfer, Daniel (ca 1470-1536): Der Standartenträger kämpft gegen 5 Soldaten (Standard bearer fighting against five landesknechts, Holl.75 ii/ii, with Funck number 119). Eisenradierung/etching auf starkem Butten. 15,8 x 22,4 cm. Mit der Nummer 119 unten links in der Platte. Hollstein 75 II (von II). - Tiefschwarzer, hochgratiger Druck mit knappem Rand. - Rückseitig Montagereste, kleines Wurmloch in der oberen rechten Ecke und nur geringe Altersspuren. Auf Sammlungskarton des 19. Jh. montiert und dort ausführlich beschrieben, sowie mit der Sammlungsnummer (Gold auf violettem Grund) 525.
