Talk:St Olave's, Silver Street
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
As a humorous aside, the name "Mukewellestrate" (12th century) and "Muggle Street" (16th century) are both probably corruptions of "Monkswell Street". The Barber-Sugeons hall nearby is described as being on "Monkswell Street" on this page: Monkswell Steet, and the existing Barber-Surgeon Hall is on current maps as being in "Monkswell Square". Now we know where Muggles live. Here, not Hogwarts. Ogg 14:56, 12 October 2007 (UTC)
