- Do not delete the existing information.
- Articles should be written in a formal enecylopaedic style -- see WP:Style.
- This is not an article about history. History should be a part of the article, but do not replace the article with a textdump about history.
- This is an article about St Ives, not an article about St Ives and St Leonards. By all means, use your text as a source for the relevant facts, but do not replace the article with a textdump of off-topic material.
- If John Hawkins requested publication by the Oxford University Press, would you walk in and run off 10,000 copies of the unedited draft, and then complain when somebody stopped the presses?
