[edit] Which St.Hedwig?

Is the town named after Hedwig of Andechs and Silesia or Saint Hedwig the Queen of Poland? --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus Talk 10:48, 22 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Because of the Polish history of the area I'm guessing St Hedwig Queen of Poland, but I would have to find an absolute source for that. 21:03, 3 June 2007 (UTC) Found it and added it into the History section. EDIT: I did some research and concluded it is the Hedwig of Andechs, Jadwiga of Poland wasn't canonized until 1997. --fanturmandos 23:59, 4 June 2007 (UTC)
