St. John Catholic School is a Catholic school in the Beaches, Toronto on Kingston Rd. It is a school famous for its athletic programs and involvement in many city tournaments. The school ranges from junior kindergarten — grade 8.

St. John School is an above average school in terms of I.Q. and were the city champions in the W5H tournament for the past 0 years in intermediate and their junior and primary levels are above average in the E.Q.A.O testing. This school offers the extended French program for those who want more of a challenge and their Gr. 6 gifted kids are the largest group in Toronto..

St. John School is one of the best athletic schools in the province, and are rarely beaten in cross country, track & field, volleyball, ice hockey, baseball, basketball, and soccer. Their school offers houseleagues for volleyball and basketball, and their coach, Mr. Albert and many other teachers. '

St. John School offers annual awards named for those students who die during their time at the school.

This award is named after former student David Churchill who was mourned after his father's and his own tragic death concerning their chimney, and it is given out each year to the male who demonstrates the best companionship towards his fellow classmates.
[edit] Cristin Fitspatrick (1982-1994)
This award is named after former student Cristin Fitspatrick was a girl who drowned in Variety Village swimming pool when her hair became entangled in a water duct.
