Brian Kolins was trained as a graphic designer at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute where he graduated in May of 2005. His website is located at www.squiggleart.com. His previous installations include "Boring Corner" Installed at the Rensselaer Student Union in April of 2003. His current installation is still on display in the Renssealer Student Union, it was put up in May of 2005. It is comrised of roughly 125 square feet of material, using 9 specific colors to show 30 variations. Brian is also highly trained in Origami, and has won 8 international origami awards. Brian is also one of the leading artists in the mizuhiki development. Mizuhiki is an ancient japanese artform. Brian teaches Mizuhiki every year at the Origami convention in New York City. Brian lives outside of Philadelphia, PA.
