[edit] When is a new team a new team
See the comment I added in the Midland discussion page. In short, I believe that with Spyker only being title sponsor for the last three races of 2006, the Spyker team's first race will be the first of 2007. --192.171.3.126 10:12, 25 October 2006 (UTC)
Officially Spyker's first race will be in 07 as if i remember correctly when the monitors go to a spyker car it still says MF1-Toyota, but the organization say the teams first race was at Monza From:RIPped

Please note that until this team's requested name change is retified by the FIA, its Formula One entry remains "Spyker F1". Please do not change the team name or move the page until confirmation of the name revision is forthcoming from the FIA officially. Pyrope 14:35, 22 October 2007 (UTC)
- This article shouldn't be moved anyway, since this article is about the F1 team that took part in 2007, not about the F1 team that will/might take part in 2008. Jordan Grand Prix wasn't moved to Midland F1 Racing, Midland F1 Racing wasn't moved to Spyker F1, and Spyker F1 shouldn't be moved to whatever the name of the new team will be.
