Spydron is a new Decepticon appearing in the upcoming novel Transformers Heroes. Originally, his position was to be filled by Laserbeak. His robot mode resembles a spider rather than a traditional humanoid robot, hence the name. Unlike the other Decepticons, Spydron is a simple spying device built by Megatron in his search for the Autobots.
