The result of the proposal was move to Springbok (antelope) and leave the disambiguation page at Springbok, per the discussion below. Dekimasuよ! 08:30, 24 September 2007 (UTC)
Springbok Antelope → Springbok — The springbok is almost never known as the "springbok antelope": it is simply the springbok. The animal is the primary meaning, the other usages listed at springbok being named after it. So, I think this article should be at springbok, and the page currently there moved to springbok (disambiguation). —Alivemajor 01:38, 16 September 2007 (UTC)

- Neither - I suggest Springbok (antelope) as a better choice, as there are valid alternative uses for Springbok that are used frequently, but also agree that Springbok Antelope is clunky and not correct. Greenman 08:32, 16 September 2007 (UTC)
- Neither - I agree with Greenman. --Тhε Rαnδom Eδιτor 23:00, 16 September 2007 (UTC)
- Support but with springboks continuing to redirect to South Africa national rugby union team. — AjaxSmack 07:52, 18 September 2007 (UTC)
