Springmaid Beach, South Carolina

Springmaid Beach is a small unincorporated and resort community in Horry County, South Carolina, United States, south of Myrtle Beach. It lies north of Myrtle Beach State Park on South Carolina Highway 73, known as Ocean Boulevard. It holds a Springmaid Beach Arts & Crafts Festival every year at the Springmaid Beach Resort. In July of 2002 a tornado struck here, destroying the Springmaid Beach Campground and the pier.
