This originally redirected to marriage, and probably should continue to do so. It is less than a dictionary defintion and at best can only hope to summarize husband and wife in addition to providing a definition and etymology. Richard001 00:20, 18 July 2007 (UTC)

please see my request at Talk:Marriage as I am asking that spouse is de-merged / unmerged from marriage as work spouse is a valid and legal entity in English Law. More info and description of difficulty that has arisen in first posting. Edmund Patrick ( confer work) 15:09, 15 March 2008 (UTC)
