Does anyone know how it got the name of Spotland? Mcauburn 11:28, 27 February 2006 (UTC)

The area it's in is called Spotland, which is named after the river Spod which runs through to the Rochdale Canal I believe. Do you think I should add this to the article? -- Boothman 18:20, 27 February 2006 (UTC)
Yeah, because Spotland is an unusual name, so its quite an obscure fact.Mcauburn 16:46, 28 February 2006 (UTC)
