[edit] Deletion/vandalism tags

I just started creating this page. I put the intro up and then the speedy deletion tag appeared just before I was going to add more content. Spot zoning is not vandalism. Spot zoning is a specific and complicated topic in land use laws. I searched in wikipedia for an article on Spot zoning or at least content on spot zoning and nonexisted. Furthermore, Spot zoning is a requested article in WikiProject Law, which constitutes the reason why I created this page.EECavazos 05:14, 19 October 2007 (UTC)

If I misconstrued your meaning, then I'm sorry, but the emotional-sounding text ("...arbitrary, capricious and unreasonable treatment...invalid exercise of authority") led me to conclude that this was a page put up by an individual who simply wished to vent, which does (as I understand it) qualify it for CSD-vandalism. If this simply reflects my own lack of knowledge about the issue, then I apologize; although I like to think I do pretty well, the proper balance of permissiveness and vigilance required for handling new pages sometimes eludes me. --jonny-mt(t)(c) 05:26, 19 October 2007 (UTC)
Ah, your recent edit clarified things for me. I do apologize, and I support your argument against speedy deletion. I'll watch my tags more carefully from now on. --jonny-mt(t)(c) 05:28, 19 October 2007 (UTC)
No prob, Bob.EECavazos 05:46, 19 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Start of the article

I laid out what may be the foundation of the article. In the coming days I'll fill it out.EECavazos 16:01, 19 October 2007 (UTC)
