Spokey Dokes
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Spokey Dokes are bicycle accessories from the 1980's, popular with children in the United States. They are round, plastic beads that attach easily (by snapping in place) onto bicycle wheel spokes.
When the bicycle user then pedals at a slow speed, the beads slide up and down the spoke, resulting in noise. They came in a variety of colors, including glow in the dark.
In more recent times Spokey Doke has started to produce other bike accessories, such as light-up bells, spoke lights in a rod shape, and bike lights.
