"Since the user may be doing real work while the application loads, the splash screen often gets in the way and annoys. A properly designed application should display the main form immediately and provide “still loading” feedback there." Agreed, but not NPOV. Deleting.75.139.35.32 19:44, 24 June 2007 (UTC)
