Splash Plastic is a Prepaid credit card devised in the United Kingdom by PrePay Technologies Limited. Splash Plastic cards are have credits "stored" on the card via their own prior deposit for online shopping. It can be applied for and used by anyone of the age 10 or over.

As of March 2006, a new card will be eventually replace all current Splash Plastic cards. It is called the "360money Splash Plastic card" which lets the cardholder shop at many more places because of the Maestro symbol on the card. The original Splash Plastic service will run until 30 April 2006. After this date the card will not be able to be topped up. It will be available for everyone who is 10 years and older. As with the current Splash Plastic card it can be topped up at PayPoint payment services and will soon be available to top-up at the Post Office. The only limitation is that a maximum of £1000 is allowed on each card.
There are two tariffs available. One is called "Pay Monthly" and the other is called "Pay As You Go". The "Pay Monthly" tariff option means paying a monthly membership fee of £1.49. The other tariff is a one-off payment of £6.99. Anyone over the age of eighteen has to apply for the "Premium" card that offers an increased balance of £3500...

As of late 2006 360money at Splash Plastic released a newer version of the 360money Splash Plastic card which comes in 4 colours, Red, Green, Black and Yellow. The card does not come with any tariffs just pay as you go like the original card. The card can now be used at ATMs and Chip and Pin merchants. The card is Maestro and can be accepted at any Maestro and Switch/Solo merchants. The latest Splash Plastic cards offer you a secure chip and pin method of payment and can be used by anyone regardless of their credit history...
