"Spitfire" is the seventeenth single released by the English cross-genre band The Prodigy. It was initially released as a 12" vinyl record on 4 April 2005, as a digital download from iTunes the following day, and as a CD single on 11 April 2005. It was the third and last single from the album Always Outnumbered, Never Outgunned, on which it appeared as the opening track, and entered the British Dance Chart at number 1. The backing vocals on "Spitfire" are performed by actress and singer Juliette Lewis.

- "Spitfire" is the introductory song for the Calgary Flames. It is played as they skate out onto the ice to start every home game while "Ladies and Gentlemen, your Calgary Flames!" is being announced over the intercom.
- It is also featured in the demo and main release of Forza Motorsport 2, a simulation racing game for the Xbox 360.
- The first episode of the fifth season of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, entitled "Viva Las Vegas" uses the song in its first scene.
- It has also been used in an early trailer for the Eidos Interactive game Tomb Raider: Legend.
- It was also featured in the 2005 movie House of Wax.
- It is also one of the songs played in the movie Slednecks 9.
- It was also used in the TV commercials for the 2005 Ashes Cricket Series
