It is believed that this image can be used in Wikipedia under the Fair-use doctrine for the subjects pertaining to or in reference of the Socialist Party of Ireland:

1. the image is used to represent the subject, Socialist Party of Ireland, as it is the logo for the organization.

2. the image used in wikipedia is a lower quality image, the use of the image would not degrade value of the logo in use by other parties.

3.Being the official logo of a registered organization, the replacement of the thew logo with a so-called "free image" should be deemed unreleasable.
