Sphaerotheca is a genus of ascomycete fungi that includes some important plant pathogens (for example Sphaerotheca pannosa, Sphaerotheca spiraeae Sphaerotheca fuliginea, Sphaerotheca macularis) that cause forms of Powdery mildew.
