[edit] Episode recap
After a puppet troupe’s demonstration educating young children on sexual abuse, the puppeteers host a Q&A session, and at one point, a boy named Colin tells one of the puppeteers that his friend Jake says that “rubbing weenies feels good”. Jake later admits that someone rubs his penis, but he doesn’t say who because he’ll get in trouble. Jake’s mother then tells Stabler and Dr. Huang that her ex-husband (Gregory Hensal) molested her older son Teddy, and that he is obviously molesting Jake as well. She then says that Greg was eventually paroled and granted supervised weekend visits with Jake.
While Teddy doesn’t seem to care that Jake was molested, Stabler goes to interview Greg, who has lived at his sister’s house since being paroled. Greg states that although Jake visited him recently, he didn’t molest him; Stabler doesn’t believe him and takes him for a polygraph test. Greg lies about not having been alone with Jake, thus Stabler and Fin put him in lockup and further accuse him of molesting Jake. Dr. Warner then reveals that Jake’s molester has the same mitochondrial DNA that Jake has, which proves that Teddy molested him.
When Teddy fails to return home from school, Stabler and Fin go to the school and find pornographic pictures of Teddy and Jake plastered along the walls. They then break up a fight between Teddy and a kid named Gordy (the person that hung the pictures), and after Fin accuses Gordy of having made the pictures himself, Gordy shows him that he actually found the pictures on a website called teddystreehouse.com, which Teddy is running himself via subscribers depositing money into his online account. Cragen then orders Morales to shut down the website.
Langan suggests a deal if Teddy names his subscribers, but Teddy refuses. Stabler then tells Langan and Ms. Winnock that he has to arrest Teddy, but they convince him to let Teddy surrender the next morning. Afterwards, Novak’s friend Donna announces that the U.S. Attorney’s office threw out the indictment and that she will arrest Teddy herself, but Stabler promises that he will bring him to her. When he goes to Teddy’s house to get him, Teddy escapes out the fire escape.
After Morales states that chat activity on Teddy’s website reveals that two users with the screen names FunFella13 and SunshineGuy9000 are working together to help Teddy escape, Cragen is furious that he didn’t shut down the site, but Stabler and Fin convince Cragen to let Morales pose as a boy and flirt with FunFella13. After FunFella13 invites him for a sexual encounter, he tells Stabler that he didn’t shut down the site because he gave his nephew Freddy a computer, which he used to meet a supposed buddy online who then raped him and was never caught. They catch FunFella13, who confesses that Teddy is hiding out at the hotel where he films his webcam shows.
Stabler and Fin watch Teddy’s last show, which ends with one of his subscribers kidnapping him. After they find the name of the person who supposedly rented the hotel room, they learn that it was identity theft, but with Benson (still working in Computer Crimes)’s help, they find that SunshineGuy9000 is a doctor named Dr. Lucas, who refuses to talk to Stabler. Stabler leaves and then brings Benson in to help, and they find Morales brutalizing Lucas. After they get rid of Morales, they show Lucas the video of the kidnapping, but Lucas insists that the video is fake; Benson and Stabler then let him go.
Stabler and Fin follow Lucas to an internet café, and Benson tracks his online chat with another subscriber, GoodFriend22. Stabler and Fin then go to GoodFriend22’s house and arrest him after Stabler has a rough encounter with him; then Stabler finds Teddy bound and gagged in another room. He then takes Teddy to the hospital where he apologizes to his mother; then Donna comes and tells Stabler that she will grant Teddy immunity in exchange for his testimony against his subscribers. Later, Morales has apparently kept his job as Benson returns to the special victims unit.

Gordy: Freedom of speech is the essence of democracy in America.
Fin: Oh, that’s deep.
