Speeedfins is a patented [1] surfboard fin system invented and developed by Graeme Davey of Sydney, Australia. Speeedfins differ from all other fin systems in that the fin is attached to the board only at the front of the fin. This innovation allows the back of the fin to deflect under pressure thus eliminating drag during turns. The Speeedfins system is also unique in that it is the only system that allows the fins to be inserted and removed without the need of a tool, the fins simply snap in and out of a clip inserted into the board.
