SpeedFan is a piece of computer software used to detect the temperature of computer components and detect and change computer fan speeds. It also has a feature which changes the fan speed depending on the temperature of various components.[1]
SpeedFan also monitors system voltages and S.M.A.R.T. readings for EIDE, SATA and SCSI hard disks. The program can display system variables as a chart and as an indicator in the system tray.[1][2]
