Speedway-Rennen der höchsten polnischen Liga
Dieses Foto entstand am 30.05.2004 in Zielona Gora (Grünberg) in Polen. Es war ein Ligaspiel in der höchsten polnischen Liga (Extraliga). Bei dieser Begegnung verlor der Gastgeber ("quick-mix Zielona Gora") mit "Unia Leszno" 36 : 54. Dieses Spiel wird für immer in der Geschichte der polnischen Speedways in Erinnerung bleiben, weil ein paar Stunden davor ein begabter 22-Jährigen Fahrer (Rafal Kurmanski) von der Mannschaft aus Zielona Gora tot aufgefunden wurde - er hatte sich in der Nacht in einem Hotel erhängt.
