Thanks for the idea at Talk:Turret about turrets for lenses etc. While the concept seems closer to military turrets, a section could be added to the Turret article, or it could be a new article with a link in italics at the top of that page and the gun turret page. The thing to do is to find a source or sources that comply with WP:A and WP:RS, and write a concise summary as the article.
