A spadebill is any of seven species of Central and South American passerine birds of the genus Platyrinchus:
- Cinnamon-crested Spadebill, Platyrinchus saturatus
- Stub-tailed Spadebill, Platyrinchus cancrominus
- Yellow-throated Spadebill, Platyrinchus flavigularis
- Golden-crowned Spadebill, Platyrinchus coronatus
- White-throated Spadebill, Platyrinchus mystaceus
- White-crested Spadebill, Platyrinchus platyrhynchos
- Russet-winged Spadebill, Platyrinchus leucoryphus
Spadebills are members of the family Tyrannidae, the tyrant flycatchers. They have broad, flat, triangular bills.
